I have now secured some top class timing gear and a local venue for a day of testing. Cost should be about a tenner for the day and as many runs as you like. Should happen in the next few weeks.

Have you contacted any other car clubs etc. for interest? Like we spoke before, I have contacts with the West Wales RSOC, so if u need me to have a word let me know m8.

If you were going to invite other Welsh car clubs aswell, then I'm sure the Vauxhall Sports Car Club would be really grateful of such an offer.....(used to be a member)...

There will also be food and karting on the day. cost is £10 for unlimited runs, all 0-60. First 70 cars only.

Hi Guys

Tommorow at 10-11am (SAT 25th)the 0-60 runs will start,all interested to come and watch are welcome.

There should be a few cars Scoobies, Evos, caterhams,cossies etc, Well anybody who wants to find out want their cars can do.
Its at Race Hire ( Karting Centre) ,The Hanger,Stormy Down Airfield,Stormydown,Bridgend.

Off the M4 Junction 37,off the slip road turn right on the roundabout to Pyle A4229,next roundabout turn right to A48 bridgend. The place should be on your right.

If memory servs, Ceri did 0-60 in 3.97 seconds the scoobies did around 5.6, they weren't trying hard enough I think!!

Car of the day has to be the big mustang, it did 0-60 in 8.6 seconds with the left tyre lit up all the way down the runway!!

yeah wasnt to disapointed with my sport 7.9s but thats with three 12" subs in the boot .. so cant complain ..

Actually Ceri did 3.97 sec 0-50, did'nt reach 60. He said that his time to 60 would be the same as last time he tested it approx 4.8-9 secs
So do'nt get out and start changing your cars to Evos.

If any ones interested he's selling the Evo 5, he needs a bigger car for the family.

that was me in the silver scooby and my two cousins in the other
one's, it was a good day only done one run at 5.6, but did not
get a perfect start... so i think i could have done better, if
i did not have to go early....
