You're classed as a high risk for them! Non fault or not they are still accidents!

Try Direct Line or Tesco as they are usually pretty good!

This is what i did with mine, was with sky who quoted me £810 up almost £100 on the previous year and managed to a bit of hagling between them and A-plan until i could get through to gary.

Managed to get sky down to £688, but gary beat that to get me £595.

Christ that still sounds a bit heavy, at 21 when i had my scoob, (bearing in mind the first CAR i had ever owned- due to always having a van for work and not being able to afford a car and van at the time) it was circa £1100 with only 3 years NCB. There's no way id be paying over a grand for it, Scooby or not, it'd have to go!!

just got off the phone to aviva, and after clearing up the exact model(as in bhp),and the alarm immobiliser that is fitted, its come down to £1385.00 happy with that well worth a phone call

and to all the other insurance companies, that wouldn't insure me or quoted me silly prices like £6100.00.....

the reason your insurance is high is because your a high risk, its not a rip off.
look at the facts, you have no ncb a claim outstanding, points and no performance car experience.

how much do you expect to pay???

i would'nt want to insure you if i was a broker, i personally think my insurance is high at £550 as i have full ncb,no accidents or points, car is garaged and used occasionally as a second car and 9 plus years of owning imprezas.

personally i think £1500 is a fair price given the risk, and should go down after a year.

yeah that price wasnt to bad tommy i was refering more to the £6100.00 and the £4500,00 quotes i was getting as a rip off.
