Congratulations on winning the best club stand today...
The trailer was quite impressive, the only downfall was the trailer had less dents the the car towing it ...

Most of the dents in my car are the result of parking in the car park in work - says everything you need to know about the place I work !!!
The other campus had an incident with it's roof on Sunday - we did have a good laugh.

Everyone can say "our stand was the best" but at the end of the day it's the opinion of the judges that count if you are in a competition.

Well done to CSC, let me get that out of the way.
What I cannot figure out is how PCAD or Castle Combe allocate the stand areas, I mean some clubs had far more cars/members in attendance than others and yet were not given as good an area in which to present themselves.
And before anyone implies it I am not just on about SWS or CSC, I am referring to a lot of other clubs who to my way of thinking had less vehicles in attendance and yet were given a better spot; two good examples being the Chavalier and Mercedes Benz owners clubs who were right by the control tower.
If someone could explain to me how they allocate the club stand areas then I for one would be very interested to know how they can justify such a **** eyed situation.

Congrats on winning something. I didn't attend so can't really comment.
Fare play to you for trying to win a cheap trophy. I lost interest in trying to win something shows years ago as you spend most of the time trying to arrange where everyone parks etc instead of watching the show which is what you've paid for. The amount of time's I had to move the car on the SIDC stand in the past was just taking the p!ss.
Is it me or have all your members come out of the woodwork just to post on this thread??

I did mention it in post 9 but as a general comment.
The difference being is that like you I attend shows to watch, enjoy and not spend all day huddled round a gazebo, parking or polishing. The club stand is to avoid door dingers and socialise. I nearly fall into the trap but woke up quickly.
But still well done to CSC, horses for courses.

they move car clubs around every show to give club fair share of the good spots
after 4 year this is the first time we been in the main area
does shock me how a club with few cars seem to have more room then other that have more car on a stand all i can think is they book more passes then cars going to the show
i know on shows like japfest and rally day they try to keep most subaru clubs together

It's hardly as if they get lots of people looking at their stand, in the case of the MB owners club it must be who you know rather than anything else.

You do yours on your own CSC site and it is not as well used as the stats speak for them selves.
Most people on line ever 28!
252 members.
104 never posted.
100+ less than 10 posts.
Fully Active - 48 give or take.
In the bigger scheme of this there are far more important things happening in the world and a gloat about a car show is not one.
