Default Copper bolt or soleniod / starter motor terminal

Thought I'd put this to you guys, as I know how resourceful you chaps are!

I managed to snap one of the terminal on the solenoid when I was removing the startermotor on the Campervan. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement from? I've tried online and popped upto shorts auto electrical today without any joy.

Failing that, has any got a busted starter motor / solenoid I could butcher or know where I could get a copper bolt from so I can machine it down.

This is one of those little things that is stopping me getting the camper done.

Cheers, Rich.

I shall give him a ring tomorrow. Here's a pic of the offending part (obviously needs a bit more thread on the end!)

Well I called him, turned up, and left 30 mins later with a working starter motor and some new knowledge and advice in my pocket

If you need a starter motor or alternator checking or repairing, then I can recommend Nicky. Knows what he's doing, and great attention to detail.
