went down the vintage car show today and was impressed with the turn out of cars ,rs owners , xr owners, gti owners , capri owners and even rover owners clubs were there 850 cars altogther,how about us sorting one for us next year , i managed to get a contact number to enter just a shame we missed this years....

I'll definately be up for it ! I travel all over with the shows, trying to make my P1 look good and would certainly like to get involved in a show a bit closer to home

what about going up to the rs owners show in margam ,they have a none ford section ,its a big show with lots of different fast cars on show .its on 2nd of june i have mailed dave -w because he will know more about it.

does anyone know where dave-w is , i have mailed him about this but he aint replyed (on hols maybe ) . he knows the people that run the show ,ill have a look on the rs owners site now for their number.

I was thinking exactly the same thing myself. (Someone in the Mini Owners Club area even had a 555 jacket!).
I know I've only got a Sport, but given the quality of the Scooby machinery around this area, "our" plot would be full of visitors.
Must say that this event has grown considerably over the last few years, now a well attended event by owners of veteran, vintage, classic and modern. Looks as if it could become a major venue in the future.
