Legend thanks merv, I shall find it out and send it too you, it is one of the late ones and brand new on install at APi, pat was the original mapper but I wouldn't use him again to be honest. Probably about two and a half years ago.
I understand if he needs to spend time on the original map and do a health check on the engine it'll be extra.

Thanks merv your a star 😍

Im in!

I already have a ecutek map on the car, no idea who was the original mapper tho does it make a difference?

I just want to make sure its all running as it should be but quite possibly have my 3" system to go on (currently 3" DP in to 2.5" center back) along with a harvey uppipe and fpr (just for piece of mind fuelling is correct) is that just a tweek u reckon? Car seems all nice and lovely but it cant hurt to make sure

Slow net connection so will try and answer best I can.

The simtek I will need the ecu number off. Something like e1s.97.0987, i can then contact alcatek the manufacturer for software to map it, I wont be able to alter the current map, only overwrite it and map from scratch which is no issue only its then a full map, I can also then order the als code to activate it.
Same with ecutek map, I overwrite the current map and map from scratch as you cant read the current map off.

I cant do a sunday or monday however 5 is a sensible limit to a day so I am likely to either travel in the morning and then map or travel the night before, regardless I will end up staying over night somewhere so can do a car after shop hours?

Oh and I wont be able to get down in august as booked up already but will find possible dates tonight.

Sounds good to me simon, I'm pretty flexible regarding dates, in self employed too so shouldn't be a problem. I understand what your saying regarding a full fresh map, any idea in cost for this? Pm me if you like.

Thankyou

Rob

Yea evening will be fine for me fella thas no worries, so it will require a full map then, so if its remapped again now simon, will further mods in the future require the same or will that be a tweak if car comes back to yourself for alterations? Just looking for future reference as was advised by others ( not mappers ) that as i had the ecutek licence, and its mapped to where it is currently is then further alterations such as a bigger exhaust or injector change would just require a simple adjustment.

I plan on keeping car for a while and intend to keep to one mapper who can get to know my bitch as well as me so just want to clear up whats been said and whats fact so to speak lol

Cheers simon

P.s if ur looking or a place to crash i got a spare room lol

Sorry but it's called work, you do some and get paid for doing so.

I know that you pair of pipe monkeys don't know the meaning, but ask a grown up to show you.
