RallyDay 2012 - The Verdict
Well another year has passed us by and another corker of an event. Excellent weather and the company weren't half bad either.
Just to say thanks to All the SWS (and Lom) gang for a cracking day out, Lee for putting up with me in the car and the constant banter with Lord Ty.
Now for a well deserved cold Bow, after sun, sort out the photos for you lot, and somewhere to hide those dam scones...

It will be a real shame when your car has been sold but you don't need an Impreza to come on any stand that SWS have, bring the caravan and we can use it as our information booth and of course you can cook us food as well.

Thank god we didn't have fridays weather on saturday lol , really enjoyed yesterday , haven't been for a few years as it was getting a bit boring going every year to see the same old thing , good to see some really nice cars on show , I fell in love with that standard road version RS200 , that would look real nice in my garage !
Had a real blast in my clio on the track , only getting beaten by John Daltons Darrian , my clio is not a bad little car for having only 168hp ! Can't wait till my new 240hp engine is finished
Took Merv's step son for a spin round the rally track and he got out smiling like a Cheshire cat , if I had more track time I would have taken him out on the track , but I only had 3 track sessions and about 20 people wanting to sit in , they must be mad as I wouldn't want to sit in with me
Was a good shakedown as I'm doing Epynt next weekend which is the next round of the Welsh championship.

really appreciated that Ian, he bloody loved it That Darrian was some machine, if only you had some extra in your gearing, but as you said, it's geared for Rallying not track driving! That little rally stage you had looked great fun! The boy wants me to get a track car now, ClioSport or 106 GTi maybe!?

I was really dissapointed with the show and was bored with the amount of time there was no track action.....
The plus side to the day was the great company and the weather
There was too much f&nny watch going on with our lap of the track
I will still end up going again next year though

Thanks Rich, it was a boiling hot day and I burnt after not taking any sun protection.
silly thing to do not take sun cream. Get some pics of the finished results up..

Thanks for organising the stand Ty, it turned out to be a good place in the end.
Enjoyed yesterday with all the company though just a tad on the hot side.
A lap of the circuit was good, seen some nice sights along the route

Watching the Collins MK2 Escort and Darrian going full chat around the circuit was entertaining to say the least.
Roll on performance day
Enjoyed yesterday with all the company though just a tad on the hot side.
