Default FINALLY fitted my CDF droplinks.

Do they look right though??

Rest.

I also did an oil change and fitted new front pads.
Just have to wait for my new plugs to come PFR7B`s and I'll sort those out.

I think the front (straight?) links are wrong, I had a problem with mine that I had a Whiteline 22mm front anti roll bar and the drop links on mine were fouling on the bar.

That obviously isn't the fault with yours but something is definitely not right, the drop links should surely be straight as in vertical?

Well the lower wishbones are parallel to the links so its the upper part where it meets the anti roll bar.

That pic was taken with no weight on the front end so I'll take another pic with weight on.

The car does feel a hell of a lot better, MUCH flatter. But mind you my front droplinks were absolutely fudged!!

That is not right, surely not? The bushes will be shot in no time if they are being pulled like that, I would post a question up in technical and speak to Chris @ CDF.

I think you need the drop links that have a balljoint that rotates built into them?

Like these below but for classics, if that makes sense?

I still haven't fitted mine, and I had one of the first batches!! The fronts don't look right though, as Ty siad the bushes shouldn't be put under that pressure, the droplink will cut through it in no time.

Alloy, and I'm 99% sure that the upper bolts aren't long enough, as I couldn't fit the spacers. The bolts are probably being used on the rear droplinks.

That should move the top of the drop link across.

You have the wrong drop links there then I think as alloy type one's are different to steel ones

James,

The 5mm spacer you are using on the rear goes on the front between the thin washer and the arb

These ones then? I know it says Type R / 22B but I think they are the correct type.

I've not fitted the spacer, I was referring to the bolts.
The ones on the front aren't long enough, to bolt through and have the washer in.

I'll take 2 bolts out of the rear ones, as they do seem a little longer. Or get longer bolts.

Maybe I could get 2 longer bolts with my Fuel rails I've sent back to Chris, for the newer style O ring to be added. As per convo on Facebook.
