Megane R.S 250 Full Fat with Cup pack, and Recaros.
LSD, Brembo brakes, Recaros. Keyless entry and push start. Auto wipers/lights, climate control. Best handling high performance hot hatch.
Stage 1 remap> 305hp and still returning 38mpg on a run.

I love Ty's car, it's an awesome bit of machinery.
When that anti lag goes on, and that equal length sound is blaring. It's awesome.
Ohhhh, and just the sheer power. It's nuts!
I can imagine cars like these becoming a bit of a ball ache with it using petrol like its got a hole in the tank, and the high running costs in general.

I think that's the thing for me is that I don't think I could really improve it anymore, it handles, stops, accelerates and does everything well and it's looking how I'd like it - but there's nothing much left to do on it and that's the crux of it for me.
But I'm in no rush to sell, I've not even put it up for sale and if the prospective buyer doesn't buy it then I'll happily keep her.

The acceleration on a twin scroll is brilliant, some say too linear as you've not got the traditional turbo kick but it just pulls from low down and virtually all the way to the red line.
I know you've been in the Spec C and were quite impressed by the acceleration on just a relatively short stretch of road, I can't remember what speed Welsh Stig told me but I think on that 'private road' it was in excess of 140mph.
If she goes no doubt I'll miss her, but onwards and upwards...

Ffs Ty sort your head out, don't be foolish and sell her just cis someone else wants her more badly than you do at the moment. Leave her as she is, enjoy her for at least a good few months to allow you to mull over the thought, it's too soon I think to be making any big decisions so soon after getting her where you want to be.
And I can't believe your even thinking about a renault, shame on you! Any more than 300horses in a front wheel drive car we all know in our welsh wet weather you'll be understeering over the bank on the horseshoe bend!
Have a bloody word with yourself!
Rob :-)

Quite impressed mind? That doesn't even come close.
I was blown away, never experienced such instant power, like you said, with the AL there's no surge, just whiplash.
My father had an escort cosworth, just shy of 400.
That was quick obviously, but there was that lag lag lag, power.
Yours blew me away producing so much power from so low down AND
still so much on top.
It is an awesome car to say the least.
But it just sounds like you've had your time with it and are ready to move on.
