Management light on help required please

As above took car out for a blast tonight and cell light come on its ticking over at 1500 rpm an pulsing up two 2000 rpm its got a flat spot when pulling of but still goes well I'm not having much luck with her lately any advice would be gratefully it was on ebay for sale but looks like theres something telling me two keep it

Sounds like MAF to me, if the engine management light is on there should be two green block connectors under the steering column that you can connect and the management light will flash in 2 sequences which will tell you which sensor has gone.
Do a google of search on here and there will be info to tell you exactly how to do it.

As said it sounds like a maf but it could be anything.
Didn't think the newages had the two connectors.
Worth buying a cheap fault code reader, Paid around £11 off ebay, Not a bad bit of kit and will work on most models with OBD2 socket.
Resets the check engine light on my little saxo (Cat falling below 95%)

You can tell I'm old school (classic), block connectors must just be on those, thought it was on newages aswell.
