Default Normal remap or ECUTex?.

Hi guys probably silly question but what is the difference of normal remap from a mobile mapper to say an ECUtex one over indigo? Prices are different cheers bryan

Ecutek requires a license to be paid for future mapping, OS mapping doesn't require

Mobile mappers can also use ECUtek. Its just the software but like Microsoft comes with a license.

Ah I see! So the price really is the license not the actual work for remap..

The first map will include the initial licence price, this is the only time you'll pay it.

The good thing about Indigo is that they are very close to you, in my eyes it's worth paying the extra for the convenience of them being so local.

Wish Anthony could do the simtek mapping etc, I'd be over there in a shot to have my Antilag and launch control activated! I'll be patient and hope he gets onto it soon, did say he was thinking about it!

Aright mate I'll have a think about that then, be worth a phonecall to get a price etc and health check on the car, I assume that you'll be using Martyn at Enginetuner issit mate?

Bry,

I had mine mapped at indigo and antony is a top guy, its not far from you pop up and have a chat

ECUtek racerom have some cracking feautres if you have an electronic throttle on your car that is..

I'm hearing all positive about indigo I'll have to have a chat to anthony :-)! Got to have injectors put in first then mapped..hope car will be ok to run over to Tredegar from blaenavon?..
