What rear pads to go for
would like your views on this, i have kevlar pads and 4pot calipers up front, i put on a set of (second hand almost new) mintex rear's the other day, but the brakes have gone a bit spongy, and the rear left isn't braking the width of the disc, you can clearly see where the pad is making and not making contact !!
have taken it all apart, pads are free and moving, sliders are working fine as is the piston, no seized parts anywhere to be found....

Do you have excessive dust?
I'm thinking the rust is taking the surface of the pad off rather than it create friction and slow you down??
What does the pad look like?
Maybe you need to bleed the brakes if they are spongy? And try again.
