Today the last of the parts have been removed from my Spec C which I've broken due to engine 'issues'.
The black STi interior and carpet removed, the BC coilovers and the Spec C quick rack / pump and pipework.
The good news is that the shell has no rust either anywhere on it, and it has been sold as is and will be going to a rally team as a spare shell for which she will be ideal.
So not the end of the road for the car rather it is a new beginning, I'd hate to see her crushed for scrap value.
Thanks to Ryan for all the help with the stripping, I couldn't have done it without you.![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I don't mind admitting it was gutting to see her stripped down but onwards and upwards, the good news is that I'm currently looking at her replacement and 99% likely it's going to be a Subaru.

The mud flaps are ripped, the pillar trims can stay with the car and the speedo is only good for newage models with manual DCCD control like my Motorsport Spec C so a very limited market.
Besides I've got to leave them something for inside the cabin.

Are the carbon looking things on the outside of the windows the pillar trims? If so I'd have them
mine are rather shabby and was looking at what to do with them if you wanted to drop them off
you can have mine back in return ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Why don't you just stick a uk speedo cluster in there and sell the Jdm ones Ty, another £200 by there

The speedo really isn't worth the hassle of swapping out as the Spec C speedo although it has red illumination doesn't have the sweep action.
And you wouldn't get a UK speedo with a manual DCCD display.

I know the reflection in one of the pics is truly frightening.
Given the condition of the shell and it's ready made for the purpose it's a complete bargain, one phone call and it was sold.

Look at the price of Escort mk1/2 shells, even the less desirable 4 door shells are going for stupid money.

Good luck with your next Subaru adventure Ty......
....is the new car one we discussed at Rallyday a few years back (while walking the circuit with Simon?). Clue...it was parked up by the toilets....which you apparently obliterated

Thanks Ian, nice to see you yesterday in the most unexpected of places as well. ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Possibly Dean, I can't remember obliterating a toilet though? ![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
It will be Steve, I can assure you of that. The only things that will be done are brakes and handling, plus a remap if it's a fresh JDM import.

Definitely not as extreme as before, I have well and truly learned a lesson there. ![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Yes the tickets are sorted for the two of you, the tickets won't arrive until September.

The Spec C is dead, long live the Spec C RA S202.
![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
They were upgraded to Alpine 3 way speakers, Ryan did look at them but because of the wiring he decided it was more trouble than the worth of them.
And let me assure you there is no bigger seagull than Ryan.

No problems Brian, a very sad state of affairs - I was gutted when I had to make the hard choice but it's gone now but not forgotten.
