Thumbs down Mixer's been hit!

Been hit by an "alleged" drink driver .

Been out in the "other 'arf's" car on Sunday about 5.50pm and was crossing the road to her house. As we approach the door she turns round and see's a old bloke trying to drive out of the parking space behind the Mixer. I realise that my car was settling back as he'd hit it.

I walk across knock on the window and let him know he's hit my car. He gets out saying he's only hit the curb, but it was obvious he had hit may car as the paint had flaked and there was webbing on the bumper paint. I then get a wiff of alcohol .

I ask if he's been drinking and he say's he's had one pint! I can't go into what happened next as I called the Police who arrest him, he blows over and they take him away.

The bloke blows under at the nick but is above the "safe" level and is urine tested. If this is over then it won't be "alleged" anymore. Insurance now informed and claim requested. Can't say too much until the situation is resolved but there is damage and I think he's going to deny causing it. There are numerous marks on his bumper from previous scuffs, so will have to wait and see.

Stand by.

Glad you nabbed the coke sucker! Some wingnut clipped the front right corner of the scoob a few years back leaving the splitter hanging off but i didnt catch who it was and they certainly didnt leave a note, would still pay good money to twist the nipples of the clown that did it so take some pleasure in the fact he has been nabbed!

Oh No

Makes me so angry when people damage other people's car and won't own up to it.

Lets hope he finds some decency and own up to damaging the Mixer.

Sorry to hear about htis ian, but good that you caught him red handed. it makes my blood boil when I hear off people damaging other people's cars and then leaving the scene without leaving their details.

Let's hope there is a favourable outcome.

You should have dragged him out of the car, kicked him about a bit and thrown him back into his car for good measure.

You could have said he was incoherent and smelling of booze and went to attack you, you then had to defend yourself against his repeated attempts to injure you and you used 'reasonable' force to restrain him.

But I am glad you made sure the idiot will get what's coming to him.

Dont you just love it that d@ck heads like that 80% of the time just get away with it and never learn and will possibly do it again at some point, shame you couldn't borrow a nice big army vehicle and then just drive it straight over the top of his car then get out and say sorry I never seen your car parked there

Hope you get it sorted pal

Bit of an update.

Spoke to Jarv and the body shop in his place will accept the car. The assessor report is back and I am gobsmacked with how much the estimate is, £1489 for a rear number plate panel, new bumper and paint !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where the f*ck did they get that figure from?

No news from the fuzz yet .

OK then I am now officially panicking. The car was supposed to be finished last Friday but the paint was not having it on the lower half of the bumper.

They stripped it back again and they are now having another go in the morning.
