Default I'm confused?

After reading the recent threads on here am I right in saying general consensus is that a standard newage or classic wrx is better/faster than a newage wrx sti and wrx sti jdm and that a wrx with ppp is better/faster than a wrx sti or jdm sti with ppp and a 300-350+bhp with equal torque wrx is better/faster than a wrx sti or jdm sti with the same bhp this due to the fact of gear ratios and so on?
I thought the Wrx Sti or wrx sti jdm was better/faster than the wrx in all departments? The reason for this thread is I have decided to sell my classic and was going to get a Wrx Sti or Wrx jdm sti but never considered a wrx, should I forget the wrx sti or wrx jdm sti and just get a wrx due to this being a better/faster all round car?

You can't compare a WRX vs STi whatever the market it's made for.

The STi is a far superior car in all respects to the WRX, don't get me wrong a WRX is a good car but better than an STi no way.

The WRX will have a more pleasant ride but the STi is far more focused car.

Better engines, gearboxes, suspension, cabin, brakes, the list is almost without limit.

If you really want the best then a newage Spec C variant is where to look.

Just after reading some recent threads on the general page. I always thought a wrx sti or a wrx jdm sti were better than a wrx hands down and for me it was between them 2 on which one to buy next either a wrx sti or wrx jdm sti. I want around 400bhp and never even considered a wrx but people seem to rave on about torque and gear ratios etc hence why I'm confused as f**k lol. Just want a definitive answer which one is best all round for me to buy and to get 400bhp.

thay are the only tool who says different is ditchy and he is just trolling

400 bhp in a wrx will require an engine rebuild and a new gearbox, but not in an sti

I would say that one difference that the import wrx sti would have over the uk wrx sti type uk model is dccd and shorter gearing other than that not much else

So jdm sti would be quicker through gears and better on twisty roads and the uk model will be better to drive on motor ways and long drives as gears are longer

Wrx sti has so much more than a wrx eg better engine/ gearbox/ suspension/ brakes the list goes on

Better handling and braking make for a quicker car on the road than lots of bhp

Why two threads on the same subject? The answers are the same on both.

I have noticed that as well on a few occasions, perhaps the OP is looking for a Welsh answer and a wrong answer.
