selling scooby or keep for occasional use..insurance??
Hi guys at this present time my scooby is for sale :-( we bought an X5 which is so smooth to drive and is total comfort... BUT it doesn't make me smile like my scooby does on boost :-) so I've thought long and hard about it and if i don't get the money i want for it can i get insurance for occasional use?? Like meets and days out etc.. If so my scooby can be stored and i can keep her :-) any advice on insurances that do occasional use? Cheers

You can get low mileage insurance but I don't know the cost. How about laid up insurance (fire & theft) for around £50 - £80 a year. Then went you want to use get day insurance which costs between £15 - £25.

Fit BMW stickers to Scoob to keep the wife happy
Insurance on a second car is a sod.
I wanted to have a little run around with the kids on so they car ferry me around when i'm bladdered (ha,ha pay backs a bitch), plus scoob.
Then i found out you could only use your no-claims bonus on one vehicle not that the little sh~ts tell you that).
Therefore one of the two policies was going sky high.
Pay £440 (incl RAC) now (just on that car).
If I insured a little car, then had another policy for scoob, they wanted over a grand...robbing basta........
