Sorry to see thIs rich, tis a lovely car.

I know exactly where your coming from with the lack of use, i said to myself id use my car a lot more this sunmer but it hasnt happened, i think in a month or so's time ill pull the car of the road for the winter and chuck it in one of the barns, and get my MK3 hilux back on track, at least i can use that throughout the winter if the weather turns bad, and get out and stirr a load of muck up on the mountains!

Nice choice with the hilux, I drove one for years on a farm. Was looking to buy one, then all the prices shot up after Topgear tested one to destruction!!

Had ot for about 7 years now, 1988 f- reg, brilliant bit of kit until i thiught id be clever and drive it through about 4 foot of flood water, it was fine at the time but a few days later she developed a bottom end knock :-( been parked up on the farm For a couple of years, recently put a surf 2.4 turb engine in, but it needs a bit ic welding doing on the rear tub and some little jobs doing and itll be good to go.
Like the car, i physically cannot part with the old girl, weve been through too much together!

Oh and i know what you mean about the value, theyre still holding strong now, im on the HPOC forum and for the prives theyre fetching on there for the same truck as mine youd buy an '03 Mitsi l200 double cab, madness
