New to Forum Hello !
Hi there ,
Have had my WRX STI 2010 MY for 2 years now and really enjoying the car , my warranty has just run out and have been browsing this site for a while and decided to join up.
Now going to starting having a play with the motor with a few careful Mods .
Look forward to picking your brains ,
All the best
Andy

Hi, Ive been looking at changing the exhausts but cant decide which way to go. Ive already fit a K@n Typhoon induction kit and thought the exhausts to be the next logical step

I know ,Ive spent a couple of grand and haven't made much of a difference yet work in progress as the money allows, worst part is theres nothing wrong with the exhausts just does not sound like other scoobies, makes me feel inferior.

Welcome to the forum, if you are after more burble then I'd first look at the exhaust centre section going for a de-resonated pipe to increase the tone and the burble.
I'll post up details soon if the next meet in Cardiff if you fancy popping along.

Just been looking and Welsh coast customs offer a decent package for the car , custom made powerflow systems at a very decent price .

Obviously that's if you want to cat back .

I and a number of SWS have used a number of different types from MillTek to Ninja and found them to be better than "custom" made exhausts. At a push Pro Speed are probably the prefered option of many members in the SWS bit. Unless your after a deafening, dump valving, blaring attention seeker.

After speaking to one of the guys at 3 Arches I showed him the owners manual with the first owner a Peter LLyod of Bridgend who runs a rally school, would be interest to know if the car was used for that purpose of for his private use, Ive had the car for two years without a hitch and still has only 15500 miles on the clock so Im not worried just interested, could it have been mapped or something .

Yeah that's a very fair point , in my opinion it would be a shame to have the car spoilt with some silly boy racer exhaust.
Andy is my father and I was just trying to find a economic solution , in all honest though that font make a good solution.
The car is a very clean example of a (2010 my) .
Best get saving for a HKS dad ha ha .

Impreza or Forester ?
