Default Ford focus rs (new model).

Anyone had any kind of experience of these in any shape or form (driven one or had a little play with one). The reason why I ask is I saw a lovely looking one the other day and it pulled into the car park where I was and I must say it looked and sounded lovely. Just wondered what the tuning/handling limits are on these and if they are quick. I'm currently thinking about changing my classic Scooby running 320 bhp and 320 lbs of torque and until now never really considered anything other than a newer Scooby until now and just looking for people's thoughts and experiences with these cars if any.

I owned a Focus ST225 before buying my Scooby and considered a RS,looked at quite a few and bought Fast Ford mag and it seems that the sky is the limit as far as the engine is concerned, some guys were nearing the magical 500bhp but at ahuge cost, most of the highly tune ones tend to leave nice black number 11s down the road when given the wellie due to the FWD something they have managed to get rid of in the new STs.Having decide in the end to buy a 10 plate STi I can honestly say Im glad I did plus Ive got four doors.

I know a few people who have had and some still got and all I here are good things about them, they look the part from standard and are quick

seen loms go a few times now and wow very impressed indeed and if i had the money would have one like a shot as for the sound with a good exhaust they are sweet as

no shortage of different clubs and ford events too if your into meets and shows so all in all a great car to own

had a play with a focus st 225 the other day from work on some nice roads home and can say the scooby wins in all aspects think the ford driver will be either buying an rs next or a scooby

My son-in-law as a new ST3. It's a much better car and with much more ooomph than the standard UK Classics and Newage cars.
