Hi guys do any of you know how many metres I will need to do my headers and up pipe? Is it best to wrap the header tubes individualy or can I just wrap around them both? Thanks

Hi John, from memory I used 50' just on my headers and it was a close call.
Wrap headers and up pipe seperatly incase you ever have to split.

Here's a pic for reference....

I used the grinder to remove all the lugs first.

The cable ties were just to hold it all in place until we used the wire to finish.

Only use DEI wrap, wrap each pipe separately with a slight overlap, use lockwire to secure evry 3 inches & my top tip is to soak the wrap in water before use. The wet wrap stretches nice & tight as you put it on & gives a nice tight finish.

what he said

read a few times that wrapping can also make pipes split or crack so would not put to much wrap on and do as above said

Hmmmmmmm so should I wrap? Is it really worth it? To wrap or not to wrap that is the question
