Question Back arches need to be rolled?

My back arches rub the tires when you give it the beans into roundabouts and tight corners, any advice on getting back arches rolled? I don't know anyone who does it? Anyone local who does this and a rough cost would be good peeps

No if you use a hot air gun to warm the paint up first it should be fine.
Slow and steady wins the race lol.

What tire size and profile you running??? I'm on 215/45/17 and get the same problem although I'm hoping that when I finally have my Whiteline solid drop links delivered that I've been waiting for the last 2 months turn up the 24mm rear anti roll bar will resolve it??
For the time being I have raised the ride height slightly to cure it.

Take a picture of the wheels/tyres you have on the car, have you considered it could be the set up and not the car at all... A 35 wall on a 17" is not correct for the car.

I just thought the smaller the tire wall, the more room I would have? I will post a picture on tomorrow.. Not sure if the suspension is adjustable? Its got tein spring kit on it.. Deano said it would be best to get the arches rolled? What size tires should be on there fella??

If they are 215 then the offset of the alloys is not right.

I'd agree with Dylan by there Bry, if your running the correct offset / et on the wheels then you should get no catching, Owen one of the boys was running 225/40/17 on his on standard sti wheels and never had a problem, he's now running 235/40/18 but had the rear arches kicked.

Simon (silver Scooby sport) has seen the work done to his rear arches and it's spot on if you want to spend a few quid, but then again you could just spend that towards a proper set of wheels, there is a lovely set of millenniums on here with tyres for £500, same ones Merv had on his white type r if you can remember them.

215x35x18 is the correct tyre size for a 4 door classic when you can run a 225x35x18 on a 3 door without any problems.

Without looking my offset is 53 I believe .

For an 18" that is the correct size tyre.... Dependant on what alloys you have on there that could be causing it, far better to find out what's causing it before you go doing remedial work to correct it I think. Also it could be the alignment/camber settings so there are a few things you need to consider really.

There is a small offset window I'm not sure off hand what that is, first thing really is to remove one of the alloys and check what offset they are, there should be a number stamped on the inside possibly on one of the spokes shall I call them.

The wheels on the car are lovely but if they not fitting right i will sell them on and look for correct offsetting so no more rubbing :-)

Are they 17" x 7.5" or an 8" width?
You may find the 45 wall tyres are not helping you.
Your running the wheels that I plan on putting on mine when I find some so if you ever decide to sell them would you let me know please.
