I was hoping not to pay that. My front and rear screens are coming out so would just like to have a non chipped one slipped back in.

Is your front windscreen damaged as it is? . There are a lot of cars for breaking with decent glass. Just hit or miss when taking them out without proper tool's.

Even when cutting a customers glass out thats got a chip that's to large to repair. Could cut out nicely. other's have literally folded in half from stress cracking.

Easier and safer probably getting a new one. Or what about insurance?

Yeah there's a large stone chip in it, it would be shame to put it back in after paint job. I'll speak to my insurance see if it's doable with those.
