I'm after a CD player for one of my other cars - rag top so want removeable face, old so don't want to spend too much!

Anyone got an older unit they want rid of?

12LEE - (sorry if I appear to hijack the thread) is this thing of yours out of a scoob? Ive got an my96 with a dead CD unit single slot thing like yours, and it has a single large connector block on the back into the harness. Is this a standard fitting, and does yours have the same?

If you need a pic of what Im talking about please e-mail me, but Im looking for a replacement that will slot straight into the hole.

Let me know if its still available and ready to be couriered

A photo would be useful. The plug you're describing may be a standard ISO connector, but then again, it may not!

This is out of a Merc A-Class that has a standard ISO connector. You can get ISO to Subaru harness connectors if need be. Check out Autoleads, etc.

Cheers

is stuffed behind the stereo, and I have no idea if its in any way connected to anything that makes music. At the moment it just hangs there...

errr... dunno what that is. Is that the only connector-thing coming out of the dash? From the remenants in the pic, it looks like it's the head unit end of something. Doesn't it connect back to some other connector?
