Try Ireland - there's not many RWD ones left over here, unless you count an early MR2 with the same engine and running gear

Thats where my D reg one went..Bloke flew into Birmingham, got taxi up to Trowell Services on the M1 (must have cost him a fair wad) without having even seen it, then drove it back to Ireland. It was enough for him to know it had T&T and I was willing to drive it there, and he was really pleased.

I harldy see any for sale, and I tend to look for interest. There arent any in the Yorkshire autotrader this month and I think you are going to have a long search for one, but good luck. Im sure one will turn up.

BTW i did see one for sale a couple of weeks ago, i will try and find it. it was a fully preped rally car thou and i think it was for sale a £1,750 or there abouts

So what's wrong with an MR2 then ?

Still rear wheel drive, still same engine and gearbox and lightweight.

and Hundreds around at sensible money (ie under £2k)

 

2 seats, no boot to speak of...

Just my opinion, having had an ae86 but not an MR2 of the same era. They just look so tiny.

 

I think the MR2's look a bit G-A-Y !!!!!!!!!!!.

Dark blue mica T Bar with black leather is pretty cool - ever driven one ?!

If you get a good (rust free one) with FSH you won't lose much on it if you decide its affecting your masculinity after a couple of months...!

 

Just my opinion fella, the MR2 Turbo doesn't look bad !!!!!!!.
