what year is your car as i have an ECU diagram that may help..!!

It was wet and i went to turn the corner and it just understeered, it was on a railway bridge so i then hit a large concrete kurb.... which snapped the wishbone e.t.c

This one applied to my MY95 WRX

You want plug B43.... pin 6

Cool

Yeah, mine is sometimes unpredictable when it comes to the wet Sometimes it clings on like it is still dry and others it just slides straight out as if it's running on ball bearings

Mine's a MY97 UK car... Does that diagram apply to these or is it the pre-facelift only??

Cheers,
Richard.

Edited to say would i just cut the wire and solder the three together??

yes you would.... or strip back the coating of the wire about 2inches from the ecu then soldier the AFR signal wire in there.

I think it may of changed at 97...

see here:

There has been alot of debate on this thread but if you go to the second to last post i think this is the one you want..!!!

looks like you want plug B136 and pin 5

Check if your plugs are the same.

I'm looking for a new front splitter to replace my very kerbed one.
I went to a local company (MC Rallying) and was told that there would be a 4 week waiting time, although the price was quite good. (£68)

Since I have a friend in Lincolnshire who will sort out spraying it for me when I visit in two weeks, I would like to get things sorted out for then.

I can travel around East Anglia a bit and the southampton area to sort this out. (Don't really want to spend more than £70)

Any suggestions/offers

TIA

I know quite a few people in Lincolnshire. I lived there for 18 years

I'm visiting a friend from school, who has decided to build a kit car, so naturally, he went out and spent hundreds on tools and stuff. He's just bought a spray gun and compressor etc.
In exchange, I am doing the electrics for the kitcar.

Thanks for the links. I will have a look and see if they can get anything to me in time.
I'll see you at the Lincoln meet on the 10th, assuming we both turn up. How are your car repairs going?

Here is a pic of what it used to look like on my car, but ill warn you the fit was totally crap...!!!! we had to screw it to the bumper then bond it e.t.c.... then finally got the whole bumper sprayed...

Its basically the same as the one www.drmotorsport.co.uk sell..!

Cheers Dan, I'm gonna get stuck in tomorrow. I'm on hols this week at my folks so i've got a few things i want to get done. (AFR, Dawes MBC, STI badge, Induction Kit, a wash, a hoover etc.

Possibly even thinking of doing the Turbo Hoses in view of the induction kit and Dawes

Just been reading the threads on adding earthing straps to various components... Might buy a length of wire and give that a go too
