Link ECU MY92-96.

Anybody got one of these that they no longer require??? Yeah right.... worth a shot tho. There's a MY99 in 'for sale' for £300 so something similar price wise would be good .

How much would it cost for a full DIY programmer for the early ECU's ?
I had also thought about a link, if only because I'd want to adjust it everyday

Andy...
The programmer built up and tested with p+p works out about £70. See www.willem.org . Not bad.... the link appeals to me 'cos of the laptop tunning and data logging. The eprom programmer doesn't give the option of tunning on the fly really plus the bloody early ecu won't log more than one parameter at a time (for now anyway). As Paul has said tho... the best way is to program up a few eproms and then you can try them one by one.
Things are probably now on hold to the new year anyway... preparing for the move to a new house. Unless of course somebody has a nice cheap example .
