Try autotrader on the web, better than the mag, mines up for sale but you've probably already seen it under the for sale section.
If you can insure it you have to go for an import they are just a better spec and faster (for under 10k theres nothing better i think) Just watch out for the usual - no history, brought at auction, accident damaged, etc.
I have recently viewed a few and all were from Traders at about £9K, one the speedo didn't work, one had accident damage, another, an STI5 felt slower than my 93 WRX!?! not that im saying traders are bad but how can they expect someone to pay £9K for a car that ain't working or straight!

I've got an official UK July 99 Impreza I need to sell. It's on Autotrader's website for £11,750 but I'll consider any offer over £10,500.
I've owned it from new and it's got full Subaru service history and all the paperwork to go with it. 17" gold speedline alloys but otherwise no modifications, never crashed and never taken on a track.
Mica Blue 40,000 miles, tracker, excellent condition, spare set of 16" silver alloys and almost brand new tyres. The only photo I've got is on the Autotrader website. Advert starts "un-modified official UK car....."
Interested?
