No offence taken but how did you manage to get shafted if you are trying to buy.

 

Not offended, but not all Scots are out to shaft you. May I suggest if you do change your attitude towards us, you'd be better to try and deal with us through the Scotland forum.

At least then, the ones known to the BBS can help to prevent you from being shafted again.

Lengthy email and phone conversations, 100% agreed to buy the car, agreed a price, booked 2 x one-way flights, got HPI done, arranged insurance, etc, etc. Only to be told a couple of days before flying that he'd sold the car to someone else

I wouldnt worry about being 'shafted' as you say, I lost 4 cars due to then being sold on me, and the owners/garage not informing me

and I pulled out of one, due to not having enough finances

I guess its all part of buying a scoob, the best deal was an immaculate RB5, full Prodrive kit, cambelt just been done, brand new clutch , brand new set of boots too, 13k, and the guy sold it whilst I was writing his cheque out !!

Good luck with finding one, just be patient, and have the money in your back pocket ready
