Sal - I've been in Neils car on all kinds of routes, and have done a fair bit of mileage with him on motorways. I can safely say that you will not hear the backbox inside your car. The only time you will, is if you decat your motor (or wind down the windows ), but that's at a guess a long time away for you.
I would be really surprised if you couldn't cope with it on a motorway. I mean I've got a 3" d/pipe, Hiper and HKS Headers (makes a big difference to exhaust note!) and as you know I drive a Wagon. I do in excess of 30k a year, most of which is on the motorway, so I'm talking from a fair bit of experience here. Mine is reasonably loud inside the car, but easily bearable. The backbox on Neils car is soooo much more quieter inside the cabin than my system.
I know for a fact that the people following you will enjoy the sound of your car as you drive off in to the sunshine with this backbox.
But hey, if it's not your cup of tea, then it's your lose! If you do want to sample noise inside a motor, I'll take you for a spin in mine at the next meet!

OK, OK mate .... you have convinced me - I'll be around on Sat'day AM if you wanna meet up for a quick blat....
You can tell, ScoobyJ that providing it's at a decent price then I'll take it off his hands
And yeh, I am a big girl's blouse when it comes to loudness, but I have to ferry about friends/family and their little 'uns so don't think it would go down too well with them....
