Can that spring be obtained easily and fitted easily?

Don't know whether it will fit your car??
It was fitted to my legacy when I bought it in 2001.
The tick over/idle was hunting and I didn't know what was wrong.
So took it to a garage and they told me the DV was not working properly and slod me a collins DV...
Not being very mechanically minded I accepted this...
A few weeks later after talking to a few people I found out that the bailey DV can be taken apart and found that the samller spring to have snapped??
I have seen somewhere on here that if you phone Bailey they will supply a spring, sometimes FOC....
It's on the DV and not the pipe work as I had an alternative fitted as above...

Same spring snapped on mine but I just went to a local engineering shop & got one of similar diameter & tension (doesn't need to be exact). If the bigger spring goes then that's a different matter but it's not likely to happen. The samller spring is very fragile.
Bailey will NOT send you a spring if you ask them. They will request that you send it to them with about £30.00 so they can service it!!!

funny that i have now got one of each! one that works great and one with a broken small spring! grrrrrr so to go with that i go and buy a completely different one to mount onto my newly purchased p1 intercooler! am also open to offers on the good one!
