Towbar Wanted for '98 5 door
#3
I have a towbar on my '98 saloon, (4-door).
It's a Witter, and was £140 fitted, + electrics at about £45 from a Scoob dealer, which I fitted myself in about 30 minutes. Real plug-and-play.
My towbar has a fixed ball, but I have to remove it when not in use (two bolts) as it partly obscures the rear plate. I think all fixed types will do that.
Four more bolts removes the rear part so that it's all but invisible.
Subaru make a swan neck type which is easily removable, but it costs £300 +fitting
