Rod,
I can't seem to send by mail but if you want to reply to mine instead jbyrnes@fabricated-products.com. To be honest its a bit more than I was willing to spend....

I suppose just a few questions further,
1. Is it an Eu import?
2. Has it air-con?
3. Have you it long?
4. How good is the bodywork ie..door dings and general marks
5. Has it ever been damaged or crashed?
6. Has it the original boot spoiler?

Is there any chance that you could send on some photo's.
Many Thanks Rod and talk to you soon,

James.

A mate of mine has a sonic blue MY00 turbo on a X. I think hes thinking of changing it for a Evo 7. I‘ll texted him and tell him about your post.

Edited to say he won’t let it go for £10500

I didn't know that MY00's came in Sonic Blue????

Are they imports in that colour cos I don't think UK cars were painted Sonic (other than P1 of course)

And RB5Drive, how much did you think a MY00 was going to cost you???

yep EU imports were available in Sonic Blue, just the UK wasnt afaik

and MY00's are cheap enough at the moment, without sellers driving the price down even more

Tell me about it! Mines is a MY00 too.. (worried)

Sonic, how do the residuals of the imports compare to the UK cars then?

Also, how does the spec differ?

Dont think the residuals are any worse on MY00 EU Imports now, as the 3 years are up on Warranties on most of them now

The only difference in spec between EU Import & UK MY00 was no Alarm as Standard, and Air Con was optional on EU ones, but you did get Sonic Blue

Other than that I dont think there is any difference

Steve

Not a great deal of difference then, since the UK car's alarms (Sigma M30) are regularily slated. Air con is not standard either, just an option. And Sonic Blue is the best colour so if anything, EU imports sound more desirable!

I thought Air Con became standard on UK MY00 Turbos

and yes with no Alarm as std you can specify whichever one you like to be fitted

I didnt mind waiting, and paying a small premium for a Sonic Blue one, as they are rare as rocking horse poop in this country

Unfortunately air con was optional. Not sure if and when it became standard. My MY00 certainly doesn't have it, nor a sunroof!

Big E or Dean my e-mail address is jbyrnes@fabricated-products.com if you can send me on details on the MY00 in Sonic Blue.

Jon
My preference so far is a MY00 so I'll see how I get on there first.
Thanks.
