I was told by Power Enginering that it has to be STI 4,apparently they are different. But thanks anyway
CAT...The car had a de-cat down pipe standered centre scoobysport back box,Blitz (sonic) induction and a few cosmetics.
It was recording a peak boost on the blitz turbo timer of 1.45 just before detenation,flat out on a very private road.
Con rod snapped into 3 the rest is expensive,had a new subaru short block with cosworth pistons fitted also a uprated oil pump.
BY THE WAY SHE IS NOW UP FOR SALE!!!

PS..i still dont know what has caused the over boost but have been told it could be the induction will let you know if and when i get my hands on the original air box. Cheers

Not had any luck with any of the breakers
Currently running Blitz induction kit and over boosting,having just replaced the engine (£6000) i am keen not to repeat that.
Any one help cash waiting

what would scooby do

I have an STI 5 airbox complete with all the gubbins from inside the wing. It should be 100% the same as an STI4 - What's it worth to you ?

can i ask what caused the boost fault was it the induction kit or did you have extra mods cause my mate has just ordered a blitz kit and boost controller and he doesnt want to fork out on a blown engine,i always seem to hear bad things about the blitz kit
