Cheap runaround for a few hundred quid
Looking for a cheap runaround - anything with MOT and Tax, petrol/diesel doesn't matter as long as it runs OK and is reliable. Thought I'd ask hear as well as trudging through autotrader etc. A few hundred quid waiting. Prefereably nearish to Nottingham way.

Thanks for XR2 offer but need something thats just completely plain and basic for running costs and insurance for my missus whos new to driving and is only 21.

Its not local, but my girlfriends dad has a Peugeot 405 TD with 116K. Its the GL model and is in excellent condition inside, with some dings outside.
Its a K-reg, MOT till Nov. Would take it myself, but no room on drive (4 cars).
Bottom asking price is £450 - but its worth good bit more.
