My car seems to be spending more time having re-builds than on the road lately so I'm after a cheap non-turbo to get me around over the next 6 weeks and will possibly be keeping it as a trackday support vehicle for the club.

I'd prefer non-turbo cos I'm hoping the wife will use it instead of mine

I only want to spend £1500 so I guess I'm looking at a wagon but a saloon would be good.
