Anybody got any new/very good 17" official subaru wheels with 225/45/17 or 225/50/17 or 215/50/17 tyres that will fit on my 98 Subaru Forester that I am doing up. The forester off set is 48mm but as the wells are so big i think WRX/STI alloys fit fine. I am also interested in just the wheels if that what you have.

Ross,

So you are aware, the standard wheels on the Impreza normally have an offset of ET53 (I believe some of the later STIs may be different)

This means that these wheels will sit in 5mm too much.

I currently have 17" wheels with an offset of ET45, which means they stick out 3mm more than is recommended for the Forester, but fit under the arches fine!
