I'm after a set of clear/red light clusters for a 4 door UK car.

Anyone want to sell theirs?? Can swap them for a set of UK orange/red ones!

Cheers
Andy

Andy, maybe worth getting another group buy organised. I'd be up for some of this.

Never know one of our banner ad suppliers might want to put a deal together? Mike T.

Good shout Mister Fisher!!!

I'll do some phoning around on Monday!!

Andy

PS - With all these group buys, all our cars would look the same!!! I guess I need a trip to Hong Kong for some ideas!!! I just need to take a couple of empty suitcases, and be ready to be charged for excess luggage, duty and tax!!!

Maybe time to set up an importing company!!! Now there's an idea!!!

Group buy sounds good, but I've heard something about replacement rear clusters letting water in........can't say I've had a problem with my clear side or front though.

Jonesy,
Andy is right ,as long as you seal them they will not leak, but check right away after mounting by letting some water flow between black tap on top of lights and the body, once all is mounted again you won't notice the leaking till your spare wheel starts floating around!
Also don't forget that they have no fog lights ,you can place one by drilling a hole in the left lightunit, this is much better (looking)then working with an universal foglight on the rear bumper.

Jonesy

The reason you hear about the water leak, is that the rear clusters have sealent to stop water getting into the boot. I think as long as you seal them carefully, you won't have a problem!!!

Chris,

Hate to correct you, but we would have to drill the right unit as we drive on the otehr side of the road here!!!

Either that, or change the offside reverse lightbulb, for a red one, and change the wiring slightly!

Hope this helps

Question

Hi all,

Chrisd has emailed me and the best price he can do is £200. This would mean senting it to just one address, but the advantage is that only 5 people are needed.

So Danny/Mattski are you interested at this price???

Cheers
Andy

Thumbs up

Andy Tang/Chris D

I'm really interested in the Red/Clear Rear Clusters and I know of a few more people who would be as well. Only problem is we've all got UK Imprezzas' and are not too sure about having to modify the clusters to integrate the fog lights. If we can order them with the modification already done then that's fine but I don't fancy doing them myself as I've been banned from doing any D.I.Y. which some people say is a good thing really.......

Wink

Andy,
my mistake on the side where the foglight is placed.
As for the modification,I also have the reverse light modified, but i think to place it in the lens next to the normal light is a better solution.
No problem for me to make the modification ,only thing you need to do is to remove the fitting of the foglight from the original lightunit and place it in the STI unit .I have done this many times and it is a very easy job.

How did i do that ,dunno what happened?
About the modification,
I can make the hole in the unit so all you have to do is get the fitting and wires from the original unit and place it in the new one.i will make pics of all so you can see what i mean.
bye chris

I'm up for it.

I assume that the rear lights are standard fit, ie they do a 93 WRX up to a 99what ever ??

If so then count me in.

Could someone else get in contact with Chris and take this over???

I won't be able to afford such luxeries until I'm working again!

Barge,
the lights fit all model impreza's , the tails shape never has been changed.
PGMabley,
for indicators and side repeaters i think there are plenty suppliers available in the UK with good prices.
All I need is one person who will arrange all with me in once.
Bye Chris
