Err..Bit new to this whole Scooby concept being an ex-Lotus Elan SE owner...but...

I'm after a good UK Turbo , sub 40k miles, preferably on an "R" plate or newer...97 car would be ok, but obviously a 98 would be better...Colour pretty unimportant - No beige cars tho'!

So far, much searching has resulted in a Main Dealer 97 "R" 40k FSH , for £11995 with a years warranty...Are there any better deals out there in private sale land? (Might consider an import , but only an STI - Might as well go the full hog!)

Erm, probably worth adding that it's a 4 door I'm after - I don't have a p/x - Just cash to burn, and a budget of £12k ish...There's gotta be one out there? Is there?

ex-owner imported it new (well at 1,000 miles).

So much better than the UK ones ....

Here's the spec:

"V" plate with 14,000 miles and full history, last service was 3 weeks ago. Full Prodrive conversion from new with high rear spoiler, air con, quickshift, unmarked 17" anthracite wheels with good P-Zero's, CAT1 alarm system, RB5 carpets and the engine upgrade to 237bhp and 258lbs of torque. I have also had a Sony 10 stack CD / Radio / Cassette system fitted professionally which would be included, I may even have the original lying around somewhere.

Cheapest at a dealers with this mileage is £22k, and some go as high as £23.5k. I'd be looking for £20k and could be a little flexible if necessary

Thanks guys , but I believe my search could be over...Subject to a once over at Scoobysport and MOT - For which I foresee no problems...I have found an ideal car...

Life does begin at 300bhp...Especially when its in a tuned WRX STI V4 Type R...
