Hurrah, at last the time has come to get my first scooby!!!
Here’s my wishlist:
98/99/00 Classic saloon Sonic Blue only (Sti V or VI etc, v-limited, etc considered).
4 door only (no P1’s unfortunately- too dear anyway)
Maybe Euro import standard 4 door turbo in Sonic Blue if possible.
Low Mileage preferred
Must be a well looked after car with no damage and excellent paintwork. (obviously)
High Sti VI spoiler preferred.
Sensible mods only (PPP, etc).
Upgraded 17 or 18” wheels is good!
I’ve been on here for years and posted a while back for my brother who had a classic MY00 DBM turbo totally standard, I had the pleasure of borrowing that car several times and I’ve never forgotten the driving experience! Unfortunately his wife said the scooby went or she did!! Fortunately my wife loves scoobies and we are now in a position to afford one of our own.
I will be making a purchase in the next 4 weeks and the money will be in my account next week.
Any advice from the scooby community on my first purchase will be greatly appreciated (i.e. what about a jap import as a first scooby and insurance etc. (I’m 37 with only 2 yrs NCB, rural postcode, car on drive))
I’d rather buy one from here than off autotrader or ebay etc.
All comments welcome.

I believe a 98 Terzo would be a good choice that fills my wishlist!
Update: Just found an old picture from scoobynet of my ideal scooby (sadly I have a picture of this very car on my wall at work - apologies to the current owner)!
I would very much like to buy this car:

Any advice for a newbie scooby buyer?
Is my wishlist too specific?
Anyone?
Anyone recognise the above pictured blue scooby - IIRC it was a members car that was sold on here a couple of years back, I would really like to contact the current owner of said scooby and make an offer.........or maybe someone has something very similar for sale. Need to make a purchase before the beginning of July or I fear i'm stuck with the fiesta!
Your comments are most welcome.

Thanks for PM mgg but your car is over my budget, not a classic and not sonic blue. Thanks for the reply anyway and good luck with your sale.
Still awaiting advice.........
or anyone with info on the availabilty of the above pictured car, a dream come true to own that particular car!
BTW can some kind soul make the image appear in the post instead of in a hyperlink?
Cheers
