Budget £7.5-£8K.
Been offered so far MY98 R Silver, 1 owner, FSSH, 90Kmiles at £8450.

 

Unfortunatly I don't think you will get a very good UK model for that amount of money.
Will either be a very high miler or not very well looked after.
For 8K you need to look at an import. Don't look at price guides like Parkers, as Scoobys sell for whatever people will pay.

 

up your budget by 2K and get a decent one, seriously mine has a new engine (piston slap which many suffer on this model year), new clutch, new brakes, new tyres, this alone is worth £1500 + £600 + £600........ if you are interested mine is up for 10k ish email me if you require any further details....... mark

To the top incase any worth looking at this weekend, may increase budget to £8.5-£9K for something worthwhile (but thats definately my max!)
