Cool

I am looking for parts for an EJ20. Specifically I need heads, intake manifold and a Link ECU with all the goodies. For the heads I would like STI or P1 heads and a STI intake manifold.

The link needs to work with a V4 STi motor 1998.

Email me if you have a source for anything like these parts.

Jeff,

If you do get offered some heads/inlet manifold, you really need them from a Phase 1 engine (STi '97~'98).

The AIC changed in '99 (STiV/P1) and won't work with the ealier ecu's, including the Link. The later I/M also uses different fuel rails/injectors.

Sti heads are a very rare find, but another option would be heads from either a '98 UK, or '98 WRX engine. Both of these also use solid lifters, but the "over bucket" type (shim sits on top of the follower, not underneath). I believe the castings are identical (STi/WRX/UK) with just the valves, followers, etc', being slightly different.

I also believe the WRX/STi cams to be the same, or very similar, but the UK cams to be somewhat milder.

So, if you can't get the STi heads, I'd go for the '98 WRX heads/manifold. All the '98 manifolds have the same pt.no, with the STi just painted red.

Mark.
