Valve seats (3 needed) , foe EJ20G
Hi
When I was cleaning the heads on my EJ20 , I realised (too late), that three of the "valve seats" (I think they are called that) had dissappeared.
(These are the things which goes under the valve spring, between the spring,m and the actual head). They look a bit like a washer, with a raised lip.
Anyone got any ? (or know where I can get them?)
Cheers - Mark

But, just to explain further , they are (I have learned) , sometimes called "base shims", and they are a flat washer, with approx 2mm upturned lip all the way round. The diameter is (I'm guessing?) 15mm - 20 mm ?
Imagine you are looking down onto a valve, in the head.
You then normally compress the spring with a valve spring compressor, and remove the two collets ...
.. then the "cap" (which the collets sit in) , comes off, and then the spring...
.. now .. UNDER the spring , is the bit I need. I imagine it might stick to the head unless it is dislodged (most of mine did).
Is that any clearer ?
Thanks - Mark
