Default STi with blown engine

hi Mate,

If you see the wanted thread above yours, I have a Sti RA 1996 V2,
I bought the car fom London, drove it up the M1 and threw a con
rod out the side of the block (was testing it and got it to 130mph when
it went bang)
It is superb condition, have stacks of pics. I'm from Leicester.
Its the roof vent model. 60,000miles, tax and MOT ti October, blue,
Clifford, Tracker, new Dunlops, scoobytech exhaust, electronic diff.

Willing to take a loss and will take £4800 as it is, sorry no less.

If not, am looking to repair it and sell it for about £6500, and have sold
2 other cars of lesser quality for £6500.

Send me your email if you are interested, and I'll return some pics.

Paul

I import cars - you cant import a 96 Sti RA V2 McRae for £4800.

I will buy as many as you can offer me at £4800

And I have an offer from a Trader of £3600, but I can afford to throw
that much money away....
I guess I will have to fit a new engine then......

in that case i will sell you a sti ra with a missing engine for the bargain by comparison price of £4000

A bid by a trader @ £3600 will still be cheaper than you sourcing an engine mate take the money and run for the hills

well this thread is getting abit of interest!
just to let you know i use to import cars too and last year i imported an sti ra for the price of £3850, on the road price which i sold for £5250!
so if you have been offered £3600 from a trader thats a good price,i was going to offer £3500 as engine rebuild will be about £800 to £1200!
so i know what its really worth!

Hi Guys,

So the story now....
I have sourced a 50k engine from a rear ended STi RA V2, from Grade A subaru near Manchester for £1000, highly recommended
I paid £5k for the car.

It will now stand me at £6k - its posted on my website for £6995
(paulbrucecars.co.uk)

I have been offered £6500 - for the car which i have accepted.

------------------------------------------------------

I will take any of your offers of selling me your Sti RA V2 McRae's for £5k

Hi Mate,

I've just bought an STi FOB 440,000
Remember you have to declare C&F to customs
Then pay VAT on the C&F + duty!

This one landed. delivered, T & T etc comes in at £4200
It has 115km
I'm still gonna advertise it for £6k tho.

Serious, I would buy low miles STi Taxed and Tested for £5k.

I have spoke to the guy selling the STi for £5400, I think
I am having it when I have cleared funds in a couple of weeks.
