Standard airbox and exhaust back box for classic
Just bought the car ('96 STI) and I'm not too keen on the noise from the induction kit or exhaust, so looking to put them back to standard.
If you have either of these parts lying around and would be willing to part with them for cash then please drop me a PM.
Could swap the standard airbox for my Apex'i induction kit if you prefer, provided we can meet at a suitable garage to have the work done.
Edit: looks like my centre section and back box are one piece, so need both.

Hi mate,
I have a standard airbox from a 95 JDM WRX spare and also a standard 95 WRX backbox.
Also have standard center section (with cat though) to go with the exhaust.
Let me know if your interested.

Cool thanks for all the offers guys!
I need a little advice though please, my car looks like this:
Is it my imagination, or do I need something to join the airbox to the OE plastic pipework? The MAF sensor has to go somewhere... does anyone have that part as well, or does my Apex'i kit replace more of the standard intake system than usual?
griz237: Re: exhaust, I'll clean it up a bit and take a few pictures tomorrow - there's no manufacturer's name on it, but it's definitely stainless and in good condition. I'd guess it's been on the car since it was imported to the UK in 2003 - how old's yours?

OK, here's the pics of the system I have to exchange - tailpipe diameter is 4.5 inches. (Really should have cleaned it first I guess, but the car's in bits right now so it's not going anywhere!)
Happy to do a straight swap for a std system (in good condition) with anyone who can travel to meet me (Farnborough, Hants) - there's a tyre & exhaust place just up the road who should be able to carry out the work. Or I'm happy to pay cash and collect as long as you're not too far away.

Still have a standard twin exit WRX exhaust going if you're interested, also have the air box and the resonator box and connecting pipes to replace your induction kit. Really simple swap out for the induction kit.
Let me know if you are interested. I'm in Milton Keynes

Thanks to all those who have replied so far - I guess an update is in order.
I've found the correct exhaust at a nearby breakers, so I'll be getting that on Saturday. My existing straight through centre & back box will then be for sale.
Re the airbox: Thanks to the pictures in this thread, I now at least know which bits I need!
simog: if you have those parts available (airbox, elbow, joining box - and is there a separate MAF housing too?) then I'm definitely interested, please PM me with a price.
Sizer: you're welcome to 1st dibs on the induction kit, I just really want to have my own car fully back in one piece before letting it go.

I've got a resonator box intact and a air box. I took it off my Jap Import IMpreza when I fitted an induction kit so I've got the the lot.
I'll take Pay Pal and post. Make an offer, it's gather dust in my shed doing nothing.
