STi 5/6 Type R Wanted
#1
I'm looking for an STi 5/6 type R, ideally in sonic blue with gold alloys, with FSH, preferably no track days. It goes without saying that it's got to have been looked after - with no bumps, dings, scratches or dents. I'd say immaculate, if such a thing exists.
I can travel and distance is no object for the right car - I've been messed about something chronic over the last 6 months by dealers who've had me gadding about the country looking at cr*p! I have the cash available for the right car.

Stuart - thanks for the response, but I definately don't want a white one.
Den - do you have any pics and a fuller spec list? - being a scooby newbie I don't necessarily know everything a Type R has. What reg is it? ABS? Air con? Roof vent?

An STI type R will never have ABS, it will have a roof vent and may have air con.
If you need a 2 door with ABS then you're either looking at a P1 or a WRX type R (non-STI).
Personally I wouldn't want one with ABS...
Hope this helps.

Sorry to be ****, but actually they should all have Air Con (but the Japanes climate control version) and will have roof vents, only if they are the V-Ltd versions. These will also have badges on the boot and plaques on the dash to this effect.

Phil - thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for something newer, a V or X reg if I can get hold of one. The newer the better. I'd be interested to look at any pics you've got though out of curiosity. Thanks again.
