as above,im after a battery for my bug,must be in good condition..mines loosing charge so i need to replace it

 

TBH mate they fail so readily it's a false economy to buy a second hand one. I have one in the garage that passes all the tests, and will even hold it's charge when it is disconnected, but the minute it is on a car it discharges in about 3 days.

Halfords HCB005 is a heavy duty one and comes with a 4 year warranty. £82 last time I looked, but if you know someone with a trade card it comes down to £60. With the warranty that's only £20 a year at full price.

I was across in Liverpool last weekend so could have helped, but I live in Watford so a little to far away.

It may be worth checking to see what the current prices are as they do often discount them
