Default GC8 Baffled SUmp

Looking for a baffled sump for a GC8 Impreza. Not wanting to spend a fortune - anyone got 1 to sell or point me where to get 1 from?

Chris.

Maybe I've missed something here - I thought all GC8 Imprezas (at least UK Turbos, WRX and STI's) had baffled sumps as standard? Quoting from the Engine chapter of the 1996 manual:

2-3B [W5E1] SERVICE PROCEDURE
5. Cylinder Block

E: Installation
1.OIL PUMP AND ENGINE COOLANT PUMP

1) Install baffle plate.
2) Install oil strainer and O-ring
3) Install oil strainer stay
4) Apply fluid packing to matching surfaces and install oil pan.

Diagram in manual also looks like it has a baffle, and if memory serves me rightly, every one of the OEM sumps I've seen pictures of (from Ebay or wherever) looked like they had one too.

So any OEM or refurb job should do it, if yours is damaged.

Its def not a baffled sump in the car - i should have maybe been more specific in my question - im looking for a competition baffled sump for my Rally Car - GC8 Type R Impreza. Its for doing single venue and tarmac events (damaged big end No.3 last single venue).

TEG Sport have them but they quote £425....................
