First post!

Looking for a idle speed control valve for a 2003 Impreza GX.

Had an engine warning fault & the mechanic verified the code & took the valve out to check it and the spindle fell off. Although it's back together it won't work and the car runs @ 6000rpm at idle.

Help! The new ones are about £460 from Subaru! That's just stupid money for something like that!

Any breakers around?
