Looking for an Alternator for a Forester 2 Litre Turbo, 2005 model please.

Had some PM'S on this, cheers.

I thought it would be the same accross the board, eg WRX/STI parts the same.

Unfortunately, not so.


The Garage I use have put a WRX one on mine, it's not fully recharging, got to be a Forester part.

I will ring the Garage tomorrow to get the Part no, hopefully, I can get the corrrect part.

OK I now have the info.

As a temporary measure the Garrage have fitted A WRX part No 23700AA430.

There is around 12 Volts going in & it needs to be 14 (so I'm told, I haven't a clue)

The Part I need is 23700AA540, any joy?


I always though Impreza/Forester bits were nearly always interchangable, apparently not.
