roadrunner motor sport in Nottm sell the Magnex centre pipe (straight through) £56!!! it may even be free delivery on that too!

straight through doesn't sound that much differant than the one with the resonator!

Well, I wouldn't really expect a big difference, but there
should defo be SOME, so I figured I'd try to get a 2nd hand
resonated, and if I can't I'll go for a new non-silenced one.

My centre section has lost its cat, and I suspect that the helicopterish sound I get between 2500 and 3000rpm might be due to the now empty chamber so I need to try something else to find out..... (I.e. I actually hope that the addition of a Magnex CC will make for a LESS annoying noise, but I may be way off...)

AND: Is everyone out there with a complete aftermarket system running without the flexjoint section (which is attached to the standard CC) with no probs ?

spot on timing!
i ran Magnex Resonator CP with Magnex 4" round end....then went to Magnex Straight Through pipe...not that much louder but sounded a lot better!!!!!!
i now have a ScoobySport Down pipe with that set up and the car sound quality with out being too loud....compared to other systems.
may be worth you going for the Straigh Through..you want be disapointed!

Resonated is 120,- new, so it seems that's the money I'll have to part with...

(I'm working to reduce the noise that little bit just to make
the missus happy..... Which i.a. means changing from Magnex to
P1 WR backbox, but actually I hope it's not too much quieter If it's the same as Scorpion it defo is loud enough)

Too late Resonated Magnex CC ordered from Colin@MSW
today. Might not be much quieter than straight through
but since it not toooooooo much more expensive and hopefully
not much more restrictive, then why not.....
Oh well, I've spent the better part of GBP 1200,- on mods the last
week or so anyway, so what's the difference
